Interesting talk! I am an occupational therapist by trade who is also a 2x TEDx talker. I am also a part time leadership geek. In my profession, I am known as a social media guru because I am connected with a ton of peers globally and my abilities to connect well with peers on social media space. In fact, I am definitely dubbed as a celebrity on social media in my profession despite I only have 5 years of experience in practice. However, what is underrated within me is that I value traditions as well as face to face interactions. I value the old school just as much as our new school thinkings. Relationships are very important. Social media can get me started, but it's the face to face interactions that I have strengthened these connections and more.

Bill Wong the most effective way of communication face to face interactions. a lot of the worlds going the opposite which is disheartening.

Great video. Love how you paint the picture using "swimming" of how we need to grow. Only way to learn is to jump in an learn.

Robert Greenleaf did not come up with the idea of Servant Leadership Mark 9:35 (NIV): "Sitting down Jesus called the Twelve and said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.”
@gracewins97525 жыл бұрын
There are many examples of servant-leadership found in ancient cultures and figures in addition to Jesus of Nazareth. Greenleaf is considered the father of servant leadership within the modern business context and his work, which was inspired from a character in a Herman Hesse novel, helped quantify how servant leadership principles can directly influence organizations beyond the traditional hierarchical sense of leadership which drove the industrial age.
