I totally agree, Ann....they would make a lovely gift for someone. I think it would also be great as a Craft Journal, perhaps to keep track of ideas for projects that we want to create. I good tip that I came across some time ago while watching a tutorial on a DIY Album, the lady used a paper called Tyvek to back the spine of the album. Tyvek is a product that is actually used in construction to prevent water from seeping in. It is waterproof, tear-proof and strong. I bought some from Amazon and it came in a pack of 50 white very thin sheets, with a weight of 14 pounds, sized 8.5 inches by 11. When I first got it, I actually tried with all my might to tear it and I couldn't. Anyways, I think it would be very useful for these 3D fabric-covered projects, and would definitely make them last longer. Another enjoyable tutorial, Ann....thank you for sharing and until next time....

Love these notebook covers. For the Christmas fabric one, all is not lost- if you have more fabric, cover a piece of card cut slightly smaller than the cover and glue it on the cover, tape it down until dry. Take off the tape and it will look fabulous (right side up) and no one will notice any oopsies!

Thanks, Anne! What is the best glue to use when glueing cereal boxes together to make chipboard? Is regular PVA glue okay? I hate to use my expensive adhesives if I don’t have to; it would be cheaper to buy chipboard but I really like the idea of recycling cereal boxes.
@PositivelyPapercraft4 жыл бұрын
Yes i would just use a cheaper glue. No need to use expensive stuff, keep that for your cards and patterned paper etc
@firey36784 жыл бұрын
Hi Dark Iris, if you have a Spray adhesive that works wonders for gluing cereal box pieces together with less warping, it makes gluing your fabric down much easier too. I used to use spray adhesive when personallising photo albums when people still used photo albums...and it dries much quicker too...

OoH Anne! It happens to everyone sometimes! I suggest you remedy this: take a piece of chipboard (not to much thick) a little smaller than the dimension of your blanket and glue your fabric on it by tucking the edges inward, then glue this on your blanket. You can do the same for the back: neither seen nor known! XXX

Hi Ann. What MM is the chipboard you use? I’ve bought 3mm and 4mm from eBay for Storting my dies (with a4magnetic sheets stuck on). And how do you cut the chipboard so cleanly? I’ve tried a guillotine a d scissors and it ‘shreds’.
