I love Frozen! One of my favorite things about it is that it is very practically made. Those actors were in a ski lift at one of the highest points, coincidentally. And since they filmed for hours at a time in the lift, the director himself sat on the chair across from them as like a comradery gesture. He didn't want to make his actors do what he wouldn't do, and I respect that. Also, Shawn Ashmore had to fight a wolf puppet, because the dog they trained was too much for him and that makes me laugh.

I loved The Ritual, we need more nordic folklore horror stories. The monster design was also super cool. Underwaterwater was surprisingly good, again, we need more H.P. Lovecraft stories. I think they should adapt his entire story collection into a tv series a create a single plot thread connecting the world together. I'd love to see all of the cosmic "deities" on screen. I recommend you The Vast of Night and Benedetta. I'd like to hear your thoughts on these two great films.

I was planning on watching Noroi: The Curse later this week! Excited to check out Coherence as well; I hadn't heard of it until I watched this video, but I love movies where time is funky -- especially when it comes to horror. I'd also like to recommend two Shudder originals. The Cleansing Hour is a possession movie that's equal parts fun and serious (TW for child abuse and eye trauma). I loved the look of the demon and thought the execution was super original! I'd also recommend Seance, which follows a group of college girls who are in the middle of a string of murders after they try to contact one of their dead classmates. It's different than I thought it would be, and I actually ended up loving it! Plus there's lots of dark academia vibes and a little queerness as well😍 (Also, love the love for Cry_,Wolf! Super underrated early 2000s gem!)

It’s a brilliant example of great genius writing and story telling. It’s a film that literally loops and is set in the Bermuda “Triangle”. It’s a totally underrated mind bender! BTW All your picks were magnificent except Sweatheart and Lost Boys should’ve been mentions or recommended for NFLIX! Always mention The Lost Boys if it’s playing on a platform! All your old school pics were great so I cannot imagine you’re not a fan!
