What's kinda funny is, despite Britain screeching about how superior their navy was, it was actually *very* equal between them and the Americans. Assuming the German navy doesn't scuttle itself at Scapa Flow, it's actually the American/German/Italian alliance that has the superior fleet. With the naval treaties not happening due to the war being over, the Americans are only poised to get stronger compared to the Brits - especially considering that Britain is currently(?) in the middle of a socialist revolution and their economy just imploded.
