So many great things about Ariel’s playing and choices, and beautiful feel. As other people have commented, he switches up rhythm and doesn’t play the same thing twice. demonstrating a wide range of melodic choices. His feel on slide is crushing, and that open flat 2nd is haunting at the opening. And something else - because he’s tuned to an open minor chord, it sounds fresh and surprising. Basically a D-flat minor with the capo on. And that is very, very cool. With all the inversions created, and when he modulates to the major and back, it gets really really rich. This is just a perfect guitar solo. Rick Beado should be breaking this one down....
