Looked like an awesome show, from a hopeful UK fan

He's like Hendrix, Slash, Claypool, etc. all rolled into one, times three. Capable of playing anything, anyway he can dream. (or we could dream, beyond our imagination.)

Buckethead is a one man G3. This guy makes all other guitar players redundant.

I watch Buckethead from time to time. I think he's a great guitar player. I see a lot of people remarking on how "emotional" his music is I see this remark on almost every video of him I've watched sometimes more than once per video. Is this some kind of joke I don't get? I'm not feeling the emotion I'm not hearing the emotion I don't understand where this comes from unless it's some silly joke about his blank emotionless mask. Can someone please explain to me which emotion you're getting from this guy in a mask wearing a chicken bucket on his head? Are you crying or are you laughing hysterically? What emotion?
@TheRobsam2 жыл бұрын
All emotions. He’s made hundreds of albums of many different styles of music. Are you saying that instrumental music doesn’t move you in any way? And no it has nothing to do with how he presents himself

@@TheRobsam I know the history of Buckethead I'm a professional musician. His music has texture and nuance but it's mostly just disconnected chord changes and odd timed melodies with lack of structure and theme. I think you're over thinking his music and feeling things that are already part of your personal experience as a person and equating them with the sound of his music. This would make more sense since everyone has a different experience when listening to a given piece of music. Music can be uplifting or sad or angry. This music seems to mix up a lot of types of feel and really doesn't create feelings as much as you think it does I think it's you projecting your feelings into what you're hearing. Your existing state of mind has more to do with how things make you feel than the thing itself.

@@truescotsman4103 you must not be a very good musician or only heard 5min of BH to think his music is "disconnected chord changes." That's the most ignorant comment I've ever read.
