yes, he'd come to the basement and watch me all the time. He has learned most of it, if not all, from me! Now he is pretty good, I agree. But I think Keith Jarrett and Herbie Hancock are my favorite pupils...those 2 little bastards!

Benny Green is a brilliant, swinging pianist, here, in his best Oscar Peterson/Phineas Newborn mode. He also has great taste, and knowledge of the great American songbook, and Jazz standard songbook. Great showman, and very pleasant and joyful personality too. I've been lucky to see him live, and plan to continue to do so whenever I can. Thanks for sharing.
