Most likely answer this before but do u have plans for moving for when the children are older and can't share a room or what other plans have you got if u don't mind ne asking xxx

No plans to move right now, but once we're able to, we would like to move somewhere bigger. As it stands right now, they're all happy to share, but there would be some changes we could make if we have to stay put long term, but even then they would cost money xx

Are you guys saving to move as the kids are getting older now and the kids are sharing one room arent they ? X

We will move in time when we're able to 😊

So hubby expects the children to learn yet he's not prepared to learn as well. He needs to man up and help you!! You're going to work yourself into the ground.

Oh he puts his own laundry away, and he said the kids were more than capable of doing theirs too. He did it with them the first time because he knew I was busy, and it was his idea to take away some of the stress from me. He's a very helpful husband, and most of the time I'm the one putting pressure on myself and have too-high expectations of myself, no one else x

Why don't you show hubby how the children's clothes are organized so that he can help you?
@MumLifeAndMore7 күн бұрын
He could figure that out for himself quite easily lol, but the kids are more than capable of putting away their own clothes anyway at their ages x

Hi Claire Happy New Year. When my daughter was little, she was told that if she had a clear out of toys, books, clothes etc and leave them in bags under the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve, Father Christmas would take them and deliver them to children who didn't have much. That way the clear out was done before Christmas (obviously put in garage and taken to charity shop). She was more than happy to do this and meant we had more room for new things. Lots of love xx

Haha yes it's an ongoing job decluttering and organising! When we're able to, we'd love to move somewhere bigger. Unfortunately, right now, it's not financially feasible. But one day ☺️

Omg she's such a monkey, she doesn't want to finish it, so hides it rather than being honest with me 😵🤯❤️

Hehe, I even wrote on the front of my kids drawers 'tshirt's, shorts, pj's' etc and they still shove anything wherever they want to...I'm back in hospital at the moment so dreading what the house is going to look like when I actually get to go home 😑🙄 I agree about bag straps for kids, especially since over here all hat cords (especially school/club hat cords) must be breakable to prevent choking,it makes no sense why they aren't.

Hi, this isn’t a criticism just a general observation that these days most children seem to have so much stuff! They can’t possibly play with it all and probably don’t remember half of what they have! This isn’t directed at your family, it seems a lot of households experience this. We never had loads when I was little but what we did have, if it wasn’t kept reasonably tidy, my Mum would bag it all up and say she would bin it unless I tidied up! Or we couldn’t have new things until we had sorted through some old stuff. The children are old enough to learn to take care of their belongings and put things away. What response did you get from the children about hiding food? I’m amazed you didn’t smell it knowing how meticulous you are ! xx

Feeling sad over getting rid of the Toy Story toys is such a peak parenting moment- been there, we passed on to younger cousins but it was hard!

I remember a few years back being so pleased that my son Owen, was finally eating his fruit snacks at school. Until school approached me and told me there had been an awful smell in the cloakroom and they had caught Owen sruffing his banana behind the radiator. Turns out there was several weeks worth of fruit decaying behind there. Mortified! Luckily his teacher saw the funny side xx

Honestly kids are like dogs they need a treat if you want them to do it properly. I’ve shown mine and said it’s like doing a puzzle match the clean leggings with the clean leggings int he wardrobe it can’t be that hard. Do all your weekly tasks get a treat the treat is normally something I would have got them anyway like a bag of sweets or a treat food on a day out or £1 for the piggy bank xx
