I have adopted the headcanon where Knuckles is always the last to hear of Sonic adventures. After every so in a while, Sonic goes up to the island and tells Knuckles about everything that happened if he wasn't part of it

Lmao, it’s always when people aren’t looking that the crazier stuff happens XD Personally, one of my favourite examples was when family left me alone in summer camp for 3 days then suddenly: -My helmet falls off while coasteering -I almost slip off the rocks while coasteering and accidentally cut my finger on one -found a bat in a cave -burnt my scalp in the shower -Hit the same place I burnt on a rock because I didn’t check the height before trying to walk under it -got sunburnt so badly my skin flaked off

Where was it said it was scrapped knuckles was gonna be unleashed again? I remember hearing about it once in a playthrough-same with shadow-but not sure where it started. (It does suck knuckles didn’t show up as he is my favorite, but I think the plot was fine without him even if it could’ve lead to great banter)
