It makes you appreciate your own situation and be grateful. Very humbling.

I have 2 close family members who are daughter's of a Huntington's mother. Both girls have gone on to have children. One being married to a doctor. I still cannot believe it.

@@ellogames96 so sorry. I have a friend whose siblings all had HD. She was riddled with guilt because she didn’t get it and some of her siblings guilted her by saying she need to take care of them because she was not HD positive. One of her sisters was a sweetheart in spite of the disease and it was heart wrenching to watch her suffer. She died several years ago but watching someone struggle like she did has never left me. I hope you have lots of loving support.

It is a very personal decision on what to do with your life if you have Huntingtons.It is not for us to judge their very difficult decisions.I just hope and pray that this terrible disease in families will one day be eradicated.

It won't ever be if people don't find out if they are gene pos before having children.

Please read my answer for this video and tak to doctors about it. I hope I'm right and if so, there's hope with existing drugs and relatively new CRISPR-CAS techniques.

I think maybe will be not good for them during that time, but if you leave an husband, at least he will have the children with him to support him, and help him when he get older.... he/her will not die with the person with HD. I agree with the possibility to have children free of this disease, and leave something from me to the next generation.♡

It's also really terrible to keep passing this disease thru generations. Families could wipe this disease out of their entire family line in just a couple generations if people who are positive stop having children.
@lilianapereira18684 жыл бұрын
@@QueenofMarine I think this disease can come to persons who don't have this disease in the family as well.... is just to do the in vitro fertilisation. Don't need to private to have children. Just need to do in another way. We need to be positive, they will find a vaccine. We are closer than before. 😊😊😊
