Just a observation that me myself witnessed n if u haven't noticed it on ur own cameras I'll tell u. Big bucks DO NOT like cameras hence why scrapes dry up n people pressure. Just mark the spots n go scout a day b4 if fresh sign hunt now!!

Been seeing a lot more late fawns in southern Ohio along with a lot of rutting action in that early December time frame. I think it has something to do with the average temperatures for November and early December trending warmer.

I'm glad there wasn't any comments like "Made it through gun season!" It's obvious the pressure during bow season (especially early November) is higher than gun week.

It’s obvious that I chased big deer all archery season and couldn’t get them close enough and then rifle came and smoked him at 75 yards. That’s what that saying means.

@@garrettstraffon608 no that saying means a "bow-hunter" hates people who wear an orange vest and take out said "bow-hunter's" Target Deer with a firearm. I get tired of all the "see what deer made it through gun season" talk. More deer are killed during archery than gun season but no one says "can't believe this deer made it through the extremely long and high pressure of bow season." In my opinion and experience a mature buck is easier to target and kill during bow season than gun week, unless does are still coming into heat gun week.

Thank ya! Hoping to catch up to one of them here soon! Some of the trail cam videos we use consistently have come from my buddies farm in Guernsey. Great area to hunt, but parts of the county have been hit pretty hard by EHD

Turkey numbers are up in South west Ohio. Also if hunting public land I recommend hitting mead paper company in Vinton County or brush creek in adams County early archery season before gun season pressure .
