Hi Maggie, you are blessed to have a caring partner supporting you through these terrible times. Almost 40 years ago I developed ulcerative colitis which ended up requiring a colectomy and subsequent J pouch formation. My pouch is still functioning ok. When I was so terribly ill and having the surgery I was single and alone in the world as I was/ am estranged from my birth family. I did have a good friend, he was at university in the city where I had one of my big surgeries. I spent 9 weeks in hospital on that occasion ( complications) and he visited every day which I will never forget. Not one member of my family could be bothered to make the trip. These days I have a loving wife and three beautiful sons, and my friend is still my best friend. I trust you will have a full and happy life.

Hope you’re getting better every day! So happy to hear that the surgery pain is pretty much gone. Worried about the next update, esp. because you mentioned sepsis.

Maggie! So happy to see you moving more freely. My experience with Crohns is that you don’t go from A to B to get to C. Other points are often thrown in, just for good measure. I’ll be listening on Wednesday to see what other surprises you’ve discovered. Hang in there, beautiful. You’ve got this. ❤️

Oh my goodness..I started watching last night and actually passed smooth out. Had to come back and start over. Maggie, I *need* to know where you got your green fuzzy top 🥰. As for the possible bacterial infection, if you can handle yogurt, increase your yogurt consumption during the week to get those good bacteria back. Honestly, I couldn't tell you which yogurt is better than another for doing this, but Greek seems to be easier on sensitive tummies, and still gets the job done.

Thank you for doing what you do. I was officially diagnosed with crohn’s 11 years ago. I am the 3rd generation consecutive that has had crohn’s. I also have psoriatic arthritis among other things. You had said in one of your other videos that you are on humira I am as well but I can’t afford it due to insurance does not pay enough and it would be around $900 a month. Is there a secret to getting them to pay more?

Hey maggie I hate to say this but my ear has fungal infection. I didn't rrealize it but maggie I didn't feel good about the appointment but I now know what is going on. Maggie I'm feeling dizzy and it made me sick. I'm afraid back surgery won't be the only thing happening but I think they may want me to have ear surgery.
