Well done you. Your looking amazing and so pretty. I start my weight management clinic on the 21st August for 6 months. Need to lose between 5 - 10% of my body weight and then I'll be listed for the op.

Hi I’m having this operation done in a years time but i wanted to ask you about what you said - not to gulp down water - I fear this will be a negative for me as I have type 2 diabetes this makes me really thirsty so I tend to drink a lot how much can you eat and drink? Like can I consume 2000 calories per day once the operation is long done?

1987jugernaut hi my name is sue, and I’ve had the vsg 6 weeks ago, I’m from wales uk, I didn’t have to diet pre op and a after 3 weeks I was told I was allowed to eat any thing, I was exactly 23 stone when I had the surgery, and lost 2 and a half stones in 2 1/2 weeks, can’t tell you how much I’ve lost now, because my son broke my scales, and because of the virus, I can’t go and get them. What you were asking, I also have diabetes stage 2 and the thirst is a lot better, maybe it’s going cos of the weight I’ve lost, but you do have to sip water very slowly, otherwise it hurts and fells like it’s stuck in your chest. The same with food, I can manage about 3 oz per meal, but you can only drink 1/2 an hour before meals and 1/2 an hour after, otherwise you are to full to eat, and if you drink before 1/2 an hour after your meal, you will get pain cos it gets trapped in your chest, as your stomach is full, but you can drink as much as you want before and after, leaving 1/2 an hour either side of meal times, the hardest thing I find is cutting food to the size of an old 5 pence piece, and then chewing it for a minute, then you have to wait a minute, before you can have your next bite, as you can imagine you forget put to much in your mouth and swallow before you should, but you soon remember cos it hurts, I don’t enjoy food at the mo, cos I tend to forget one of the steps, but it’s just a matter of learning to eat tiny amounts, and super slow, they say your food should take you about 25 minutes to eat it, people that I’ve chatted with say that around a years time your food portion gets bigger, cos it stretches a bit, and all swelling has gone, but you can still only eat a child’s portion if that, and certainly not 2000 calories, I’m having on average 150 calories per meal. But I still can’t drink the amount they say to. I hope this helps, even though it has its set backs, I don’t regret having it done, cos I’m getting my life back, just gotta learn to slow down, but it’s habit, once you’ve chewed and swallowed, you ortamatically put the next mouthful in lol, but I’m learning

Susan Braden I’m just worried that it’ll be catabolic I know it sounds crazy but I’m trying to invent something that’s going to blow the whole planet away it’s basically an injection that temporarily disables the taste buds making taste vanish will be hard to live with at first but once you get used to it then over eating becomes non existentent. Also I completely and 100% stand by cardarine it’s something I was sceptical about at first but I’d highly recommend it like no other and of course I was scared but losing weight is one thing but if you want to lose weight then go a step further then hands down cardarine is a game changer. I’ve tried sibutramine but didn’t find it worked or was bunk I don’t know but one more thing that has helped me, again I took upon myself and was completely terrified at first is TRT.. the states condone it but I find in the uk the doctors are not that helpful.

1987jugernaut you can’t have those injections for ever, and why would you never want to taste food again, if your scared of the op don’t be, I’m 58 nexts month, and I knew that if I didn’t loose weight, it was gonna kill me, I’m a widow so I live on my own, I’m riddled with arthritis so I can’t walk more than 30 feet before I have to sit down, I paid £9,500 for the op going private, cos I was still on the nhs list for 4 years, I was frightened of the pain I’d be in after the op, but I was stunned that after the op, there was no pain, none at all, I had no pain meds, I was baffled, it didn’t hurt to move around nothing, when I asked the doctor, he said that internal organs have very little nerves, it’s only your skin that has nerves and since it’s keyhole, the cuts are about 11/2 cm that’s all. It’s a big step to take, but I would rather eat smaller amounts and feel full and loose weight, than go back to the way I was. And I certainly wouldn’t want to live, having to eat food and not taste it. This op isn’t for every one, but it’s the best money I’ve ever spent, it’s taken all my savings, and a loan on top, but I’ve got no regrets, I’m eating the food I love, feeling full, and loosing weight, it’s a win, win situation, I’ve just got to remember like all that’s had it done, that we have to eat smaller bites, and eat slower, I’m only 6 weeks into this so I don’t know how much more I’ll be able to eat in a years time, but I can have all the food I like, but smaller amounts, and you don’t mind that cos your full.

Susan Braden as I’ve said it’s designed temporarily to disable the Taste buds so this can aid in not overeating so yes as it’s temporary not to be injected forever, I just hope I don’t get too skinny
