I enjoy this patch as it puts in respective the skill gap, as many thought they were good at defending but this patch has been a wake up call...but I totally agree, I miss the days whe you purchased a game and there was no readjusting to game-play with patches every 1-2 months

Wonder why all my opponent defenders out pace me.🤣 This games just illusion by tampering the ai levels EA got people saying its best fifa ever as they play vs semipro ai, but it didn't happen to everyone. Pay to win mechanics. RIP EAFC

Most matches end up in 5-6 goal fest B4 half time and u say skill gap 😂😂😂 Now it's all about pace. The one who has better attacker wins the game and this patch came at a time when Toty was around the corner 😂😂😂😂

Not your fault fella. It's the game fucking broke. Released broke endless patches to fix 6 months in still shit. Ea don't give a fuck about casual players just the fut. Soon as you adapt it changes and never consistant. Still same shit issues remain. Spent more time adjusting this game than playing it Absolutely shit. And yes I know how to play. Former top UK 200 back on fifa elite and all that crap. This is just a ping pong game now. Rubbish so I've uninstall the fucking thing and spent my time on better things

i know this is faded but i prefer the old patch at least i can defend now i cant do anything im conceding all type of goals and cant go elite dev this season whats worse they havent fixed the rebound i concede at least 4 rebounds every match and im trying to learn everyday how to defend

I love how auto pilot defending is nerfed to the ground. Manual defending is a bit nerfed but it's still fine. At least there's an actual skill gap in manual defending now. Before this people dont even control their back 4 even in elite divisions

@@lkhalil5181 Manual defending shouldn´t be the same as "manual attacking". Defense in football is collective as well, some auto defense is the only way to replicate that.

The new patch is great - I’m very quickly getting used to the new defending techniques. I’ve been a constant div 3 player since the start of the game , now I’m holding steady in the middle of div 2 👍🏻 4-2-1-3 formation since the start of fc25

How much of a difference are we finding jockey+ PS to a silver Jockey playstyle? As a player struggling very much to defend is an EVO kounde worth having in your team over the likes of RTTK Araujo or ICON thuram who have silver jockey

Use the right stick towards the player you want , it’s more precise than clicking l1 ( with is random)

NealGuide - can you show samples on who to use to cut off lanes , either RB/LB or fullbacks or CM's ? I don't know which ones to use when cutting out passing lanes between them. Also - when to run back and take away passing lanes vs putting pressure on the ball ? If i don't put pressure on the ball, they will just run all the way to my penalty box.

I am a fan, I subscribe, but nowhere does it help with the spam skill people. I leave my defence, i do not comit my cb, i try and do what you say Neil but they move left, if i move left they go past me on the right. If i stay still and do not comit they just go past me. I only beat people who do not use the skills and tricks a lot. I am not expecting a reply as i do not use your patron service but its frustrating and makes the whole experiance frustrating.

Formations are all the same strength, just depends on your gameplay and how good you are...example...top teams play attacking formations because they have good players and managers, weaker teams play more defensive formations because their players and manager is not as good, therefore if you think your good at defending, you play more attacking, if your poor at defending, play more defensive and try to hit on the break with a more direct style...EA's reality skill gap implemented
