@@reblisred I think its got something to do with the old Dynasty and the impacts they had and still have, but somethings not right, 2 years ago it was a Rookie Head Coach getting schooled in the Playoffs then last year was a guaranteed Oilers Cup but out of nowhere "a lack of Maturity" and an imploding starting Goalie derailed the not-so young Oilers...this year it looked like it was all over in RECORD TIME...but then we saw a massive win streak...and for some reason I now feel there are healthy internal competition problems brewing inside the room because of issues like Brown still playing with zero results plus once again we have a Rookie Head Coach with the imploding Goalie starting... . I just have the gut check feeling that Connor cannot do it in Edmonton for some strange reason. Its not Connor its the location. I will feel just as good or even better with Leon wearing the "C" and skating the 1st Victory lap. I just want to win.

@@BobsUruncle-dl7csthe team looks like they're meshing well now, the line changes are working and maybe there were a few bad lineups but you have to try new setups. There's so much talent there this year. The goalies will do fine.

It's when they brought up Erie, the penguins and his idol Sidney Crosby and he softened in a way I've rarely seen. No more robot and we actually glimpsed a little of his real personna. Kind of cool!

Nurse has to remember he is a defenceman and not a forward. How many times have we seen him forget to take his guy in front or go to fail at being a frontman instead of doing his job. And the losses this year show it. I do like Nurse, mainly how he played 3 to 4 years ago. Before he signed that deal paying him more money than the top D of the league. But stop being that guy so the cup can be a possibility.

how appreciated is Nurse in this locker room? seem a lot of lame questions like this - anyone would say oh, very appreciated.. anyway Nurse was bailed out yesterday from falling into minus by posts and ref call backs, Buff missing open net etc... so grat to see him get 2 goals, even if they were meaningless when up 2-0. Great game. Leon looks very uninterested out there on the ice. All these giveaways the past week has been ridiculous and he does t look concerned when he does it. I wonder if the lack of trade deadline moves if Leon and Connor are not going to resign?
