This podcast was so encouraging! Especially for the many Christian men and women out there who may have messed up in the past and experienced a skewed and worldly version of physical intimacy. I know my past experience left me feeling broken and low in many ways. There is a reason why God gave us certain guidelines. Out of his goodness, so that we would experience intimacy in the fullest and purest form 🤍 you guys are amazing! We are rooting for the Ward’s!! And you are not alone in your mental struggles Kaleb, so many of us share the struggle. But we are all pushing forward together!

That’s funny you mention the crying thing cause I cried on my wedding night like right after we did it for the first time and it was the same feeling! It made me realize that he wasn’t gonna leave me and that he was here to stay and God made this for a good thing for us to enjoy together and it’s ultimately His good design! I also read sheet music that I was gifted from our premarital counselors and it was so good and set us up on the right track❤

No I don’t think it’s a problem yall are open, more Christians need to talk about the reality of s*x, obviously have privacy and don’t just tell everrrrrything, but there’s way to openly talk about it a classy way and it’s God ordained in a marriage, so be open about it. My husband was the same way when we first started living together. He could not calm his mind. I started implementing Stress Relieving methods at night. I played sleep sounds on Alexa, start a bath for him with sleep salts, run a diffuser with lavender, and massage his back. Helped a lot! He has a better sleep routine than me now 😂

Wow I can relate to this so well. We got married Nov 11th and I was so stressed. My hands were throbbing and I was pacing back and forth. A mess. I also decided to randomly get my eyebrows waxed the day before my wedding and something was telling me not to. Well, I did it anyway and the lady not only waved but she threaded them without my consent and I had a horrible reaction that didn't go away until days after my wedding. I was so frustrated. So I had these bumps above my eyebrows on my wedding day but thankfully the photographer did a great job with hiding it in the pictures. But we couldn't have chosen a great date to get married bc it allowed us a vacation we both needed before going back to work and we got to be together for thanksgiving and soon Christmas. But the last week of planning the wedding was stressful and I was ordering last minutes things from Amazon . Thankfully everything was beautifully. God came through as He always does ❤
