We have a turtle hatchery that's open to the public. You can volunteer to clean the baby turtles with steel wool. I'd love for it to be displayed there. They have tons of room. I think the thing would make a wonderful addition to any coffee shop's selfie corner.

I have both Mac and PC, the Mac I only use for Music Production, and to talk to my iPhone, and my PC Laptop is for everything else..... Mac's are great once you work them out, but I have more problems with my PC setup. Hey buddy If you get access to like a small torch or heat gun... you could make a template of the curvature of the head heat the lighters or cut them in half and heat them as tiles to bend thus taking the shape of the head if that makes sense...

These things are made to contain compressed gas. They're solid as rocks. It would take tremendous heat to bend them. Still, I did find a lighter on the beach that was twisted into a spiral. No scorch marks at all. I'd love to know how that happened.

Steve, I feel your pain! If a door handle falls off then most people will probably manage to find a way of fixing it. When software, a PC, phone or tablet stops working it is a bloody nightmare. I have worked in electronics and engineering all my working life and I still find software and PC/mobile phone issues sooooooooooo stressful. When you live alone you can feel so helpless when there is no one to turn to for help. I do hope you get a solution to your editing problems. Maybe you should invest in a punch ball so that you can vent your anger on it🤣 🤣. Don't hit the computer as that costs serious money 😆. As to your turtle, he/she is looking great 👍. I personally like the white head just as it is. I think it would spoil its looks if you coloured it. Just my thoughts 😅.

Oh, no. The whole thing has to be lighters. And I'm always careful to drain whatever butane remains whenever I work with the lighters.

For the turtle's head, you might try to smash some lighters with a rubber mallet on those cinder blocks and see if the pieces are workable to puzzle together and fasten onto the head. They will be lighter, thinner, and smaller to work with to form over the rounded shape. I'd try to hit the bottom off first - it seems that it would leave larger pieces to pull apart or cut instead of a bunch of thinly crushed sticks? It may be tedious work, but I think heating and curving the lighters will be more work intensive. I'd hate to see the head turn all boxy.

Turns out, the lighters soften at 165 C, but they also shrink and turn cloudy. They lose their beautiful colors. What I need is a band saw so I can cut them to length. Maybe next pension check...

Everybody knows it's household trash dumped in the sea by Myanmar, Bangladesh, and India. Thailand, too. The lighters and other plastic bits are what survives the trek across the Andaman Sea.

It would take a much hotter temperature to bend these than 100 C. They're built to contain compressed gas and they're solid as rocks.

Amen. Tons of potential. If you look at the site on Google Maps, you can see the pillars are built on the edge of a massive man-made lake. What's here only covers about a tenth of the total coast line of that lake. The project was intended to go all the way around. They quit at the beginning. Probably because they couldn't find bedrock.
