Bad loss, we had scoring numbers and still lost this game against the Hawks. Shameful it was also a loss at home. Last season if was nearly impossible to beat the Cs at home.

If Celtics lost the cup last year and end up winning the finals then I’m ok with this outcome if it motivates them because they don’t want to lose.

hawks are way better without trae young. their defense looked top 10 in the nba. celtics aren't a high turnover team but they looked so sloppy tonight

0 effort and he clearly played injured I don’t get why he couldn’t sit out for this one. He didn’t look fully mobile and it showed down the stretch

It did look like JT was limping at times when he walked back to the seats.

He NEVER makes game winning shots. He make a big shot to bring the game to OT, but he's not a closer.

It’s a long season and they’re not going to win every game…Geeze, must we go through this with stupid fans every year?

Exactly. Plus KP is still out. If the ISO is the same as last year its point differential right now so losing by a point isn’t the end. We needed what, like 31 points last year to stay in and beat Chicago by like 37. We can afford to lose a game by a point but they gotta be better if they want to win the cup

HERE IS THE LESSON YOU GUYS ARE THE HUNTED THIS YEAR EVERY GAME IS GOING TO BE A CHANCE FOR THE OTHER TEAM TO MAKE A STATEMENT... SO DON'T GET TO UPSET WHEN YOU LOSE... JUST DON'T GET BEAT... THERE IS A DEFERENTS BETWEEN LOSING AND GETTING BEAT!!!

I really just need Tatum to be honest about himself just say “I shot like trash I was trash and garbage tonight and have to do better” not admitting that is what will hold you back

EXACTLY! He wants to be MVP, so he's got to be 💯 about how he played. He needs to admit that he was a HUGE part of those turnovers instead of just saying "WE had too many turnovers." That's why I respect Giannis and Jokic.

Tatum is a prima donna and never will lead this team or any other team. We should be thanking the heavens that JB is a leader and took us to that championship victory

You are a much better team than they are I know and I know anybody can beat anybody one time but the 20 turnovers come on guys. I hope Coach got in your face because you guys stunk it up tonight. You’re better than this.‼️

Celtics fan since the 80s and I hate how soft he is. He still whines about how his father was too tough on him as his basketball coach. I know he got scared as hell when Mazulla said that they should let the players fight. 😂

say what you want but he was our anchor in the playoffs last year and that's all that matters if he scores great but if not he still does so much other shit that makes the team lethal D White doesn't get 30 tonight without JT being doubled and kicking it out

Reporters always trying to drum up excuses. Nothing to do with an ankle the Hawks played hard and they took them for granted. You don’t make the NBA just because lol the guys are talented even if they don’t have a star player.
