Knicks had an identity last year. We were built the same mode as the Grit & Grind Grizzlies, the defense first Pistons. Like they said in this segment, there was real chemistry and they decided to chuck that for a shiny new toy. The front office clearly believes in a different strategy and maybe they will be proven correct but the team from the second half last year was my favorite Knicks team of all time. It's so tough to see them broken up.

A ton of Knicks fans rue that Ragu was traded. KAT is amazing offensively but his defense is bad and the problem is we already have Jalen Brunson who is of similar repute (all offense, no defense). Yes it's wonderful kat provided 46 points the other night. It's really bad when the opposition is getting 17 more points on average when KAT is on the floor...overall NYK defense rating is ranked 20th (we were 9th last year). Since we lost Ragu...ohhh let me trade 5 first round picks for Bridges...who has been awful.

my gut reaction is to call this THE worst trade, from both sides, i've ever seen... ?!?! especially from MN, tho... they gave up SO MUCH to get Rudy, to pair Rudy with KAT... and it WORKED! they've had a good team for a while there, with Kyle, KAT, Antman, conley... but they haven't achieved playoff success... and it FINALLY WORKED, they got all the way to the WCF... they beat Denver... and... they throw away KAT??!?!? W H A T !?!??! 😳 but the weird thing is.... i dont think this trade even makes sense for NY.... Randal has been THEIR GUY for a few years now, he's been there while they've been making the team better... now... i actually thought they messed up by trading away RJ and to a lesser extent, Quickley... but... smh it's the Knicks, why even bother with them... anyway... smh this whole trade. also didn't like the Siakam pickup by Indy... look how bad they are this year. chemistry GONE?

Donte still seems pissed about the trade from what I can tell. Hard to blame him if thats the case, I was really disappointed that we didnt get to see the full Nova knicks but the trade makes a bit more sense to me for both sides now with some time passed
