@@k.t.1641 , yes in all fairness, he probably has been working under stress for too many days in a row. His immune system is not up to par. Based on the videos I see in the cafeteria, he is not consistent in eating healthy. Hope he see this and takes it to heart. Being a CEO in a highly competitive environment is not as easy as it looks. He embarrassed the established coaching fraternity, and they united to make him pay. They shared scouting information, and who knows what else they are doing to defeat him. He will respond. He took a literal 80 new player team and half of a new coaching staff! A coaching staff comprised of coaches from lower level competition and mixed them with the sorry coaching staff of the couple years before that couldn’t beat a soul! Put all of that together in his first year as a head coach at this level himself! Turned this program completely around in the first 3 games!! You haters just don’t want to see him win! Let’s not talk about the sorry lineman he has! He’s going against seasoned coaches and systems!! And still managed to beat some good teams! Relax on him!! If you dislike him and want to see him fail just say that! You couldn’t have possibly thought a basically brand new program was going to get 8 games did you? Crazy! Wait until the next year and the one afterwards! Don’t hop on that train then

Their record justifies the product on the field. You can wish to be the best team, but you have to have the right players in place. It’s team ball not just the sanders show. Good qb, good receivers, ok dbs, but that o line and d line wooo. Maybe next year but even then there is a lot of work to do.

Deion lost one of his OL recruits yesterday. The 3 Star out of Missouri decommitted and is going to mizzou now. That means there is only ONE OLine recruit, a 3 star. They NOW have the 69th ranked recruiting class for 2024. Keep in mind, the 2023 class was ALL the previous staff and it was the 29th rated class... THIS IS CRITICAL.. Help AINT COMIN'. Deion raided the portal because they didnt know what he was.. NOW THEY DO.

At a certain point too much hype is counterproductive. See now they have people de-committing because they massively underdelivered on the hype from the first three weeks. Maybe players like the flashy hype and style of Deion Sanders, but it just ends up looking bad when they are doing all that stuff and then getting cooked by a team like Washington State

@@greenhillscustomlawncarell1139 I wouldn't say he's trash but this is all about the recruitment money. I don't blame Colorado for bringing in Coach Neon. Unfortunately, it was more about marketing than football. Allowing teams to transfer in almost a completely new team is counter to the spirit of competition. Real coaching, at least at the collegiate level, should involve working with what you have, with what you inherited- not with what you bought. There needs to be a limit on the number of players a team is allowed to transfer in. Make coaches COACH, allow these kids to prove and improve themselves.

So he needs to coach the All Star bowl in order to be successful?!?. He let go of a 6’8”, 300+lbs OL from last year’s team. You would at least need such a player on your practice squad in order to get your DL READY! NOTE: he told the guy on his 2nd day when the player sought out to meet with him as the new coach. This means that he not have adequately assessed this player’s ability. If you can’t coach up this type of physical player then you should be coaching.

To build a winning program you need to rely on recruiting like all the top programs do, not the portal. That's how you both teach football and build team unity. Use the portal to fill-in where necessary. If recruiting Freshmen and keeping them for 4-5 years isn't the priority, then CU will be hoping to just get to 6 wins every year. Not meant as a criticism, I think it's just a fact.

The truth is not every team in the Pac 12 has more talent than Colorado. Nobody wants to admit that Colorado is more talented than 4 wins. They have 1 of the best QB's, WR's, and Safeties in the country. Add to that a stable of RB's. A lot of people are just parroting what they've heard. Their roster isn't comparable to UGA or Oregon type teams but they most certainly are better than a lot of the Pac 12 teams. Colorado has a poor coaching staff. Not every year will teams have great o-line or d-lines, the coaching understands that and adjusts to it. You chip with TE's and keep RB's in for help. You also call quick passing plays instead of long-developing pass plays. Shadeur is always looking for the big play, that's his problem. Colorado should be an offense that prioritizes keeping the chains moving and hitting the big play when it's there. Their offense is built for long sustained drives. They have the perfect personnel for it.

You know Deion's ego is the size of Texas so this season was probably one of the most humbling experiences he's ever had in his life. A culture shift needs to be made within the program. The kids need to earn the right to act the way they did instead of just living vicariously through Deion, who has earned the right to be the way he is. His players came off as entitled and privileged and it was probably a reflection of Deion, but Deion is arguably the greatest cornerback of all time and a 1st ballot HOFer so he can act any way he wants within reason. His players though? They got way too ahead of themselves after beating a bad TCU and Nebraska and barely eeking out a win over a G5 school. The media gassing them up all day, every day certainly didn’t help. In fact, I think that was the worst thing for a struggling program in a rebuild and in need of a complete cultural overhaul. We'll see if this season acts as a motivating factor for the program and brings them all some humility, including Deion, or if they keep riding the wave of mediocrity because they didn’t have to work and they were still put up on a pedestal. Balls in their court.

That being said I’m still riding & supporting coach prime 100% but I’m not oblivious to the negatives & hinderance he’s adding to college football landscape. Colorado administration will show some “support” since it’s Deion’s first season and they showed some improvement record wise from last season. If they have the same record after year three, if Deion is still around, then the seat will be hot. Colorado also spent money getting him there and he got butts in the seats during home games this season.
