@@panjirizki2976 I was thinking she needs to take ballet lessons first, and then learn the steps of various dances which were popular in the 20's..... THEN do the improvise, which would bring her even closer to the tinkerbell you find so adorable. The ballet lessons are very important!
@maiyenish85525 жыл бұрын
@Thai Ya Long Being rude? We have a disagreement on how Tinkerbell dances!
@alejandrosantos53285 жыл бұрын
Mai Yenish ballet is NOT the foundation of tap so its not really required. it would help though. ballet is not really important unless youre doing a dance style that came from ballet, like modern, contemporary, lyrical, or broadway jazz. tap does not need ballet, neither does hiphop, african dance, dancehall, vogue, popping, or indian classical. yes she should practice on 1920’s dance steps, which would improve her improvisation, but tap does not need ballet. tap dancing was invented by black people on the street not by white people in a studio where they spend hundreds of dollars for lessons. tap used to be 100% improvisation and self expression, so there really wasn’t a “correct” way to do it.

Best thing about these covers is it's allowing people that don't like pop music to still appreciate the songs. Gaga's songs are actually pretty deep and meaningful, and she's a talented singer, but the damn industry forces her to sing in that stupid generic pop style.

Wow! This just became my favorite cover ever of this song (the original still gets first billing). The tap dancer adds that magic touch, and OH MY GOD HOW DOES SHE HAVE SO MUCH ENERGY?!?!?! The energizer bunny could take lessons from her. And she is absolutely amazing at tap! I have a friend who teaches tap, and I've learned a few steps myself, so I know this is approaching some world class stuff. What a phenomenal performance by the entire group!

The drummer just watched the tap dancer nearly the whole time. So cute 😍. Also, her tap dancing was insane (and the star of the show for me), but that whistling was insane!! All of the instrumental people did really great too! Edit: Also the throwing of the clarinet at 4:10 😂😂😂
