Hi Jessica, I love your workouts and look forward to the new ones.really helping!!I'd like your opinion and engaging core during walks.i go for a 30-45 min walk every evening and would like your opinion on whether my core should be engaged the whole walk session?I see conflicting info on the internet.

Hi. I have been doing your videos since last one week. I have a two month old kid. I would really like to mention that your workouts are nicely paced. Not too much not too little. They give good amount of sweat without going overboard with the energy required. Thanks for this perfect balance. These small videos are a life saver for new mums .. keep up the good work. 👍👍👍

I could tell something was off when this video was recorded. No instruction about what moves are being done. It felt weird to just watch and try to follow what could see on my phone. Although the workout is good, I think the instruction could be better. ❤️ Love this channel and hope the feedback is helpful.

I enjoyed the moves and love that it is safe for diastasis recti. My youngest is 7 years old but even with physical therapy I haven't gotten rid of the diastasis recti. So for me, this video is "toning" not cardio. Thank you for the safe exercise with fun moves!

This was brilliant... absolutely what I was looking for. My plan was to comment asking how to manage food but maintain milk supply but your links in the description box look like they will answer this! I had trouble immediately postpartum keeping on weight (postpartum thyroiditis/hyper) and my milk basically went away. Even now as my thyroid has normalized, if I’m Not careful with diet my milk goes down. I’m looking to let baby self wean, but now at the stage where I don’t need to worry as much... I just don’t want it to go away all at once! So glad you are putting out this info!!

Hey, so are all the exercises in this video DR safe completely
@PregnancyandPostpartumTV4 жыл бұрын
Hi Jyotika! That is really hard to say because severity diastasis recti can vary so much. If you have DR then you should avoid anything that causes any coning or doming of the stomach or pain. I saw a pelvic floor physio and these are exercises that were safe for me when I had a 4-finger DR gap, but each body is different. I also have quite a few physios that recommend these exercise videos to their clientele. Ideally, everyone would get an assessment by a physio, but I realize that is difficult and not possible for everyone. So these exercises should be safe for most, but you always have to listen to your body and only do things that are safe for you (and don't cause any coning or pain). If you aren't sure then modify or skip it just to be safe :)
@earlynsotto-balde89594 жыл бұрын
Can i do this even if it is only been 2 weeks since I gave birth?
@maxinekeleher37364 жыл бұрын
Thanks for uploading the video however I just wanted to add some of my own feedback. I felt that there was a massive lack of instruction with the exercises. Especially for women who are training postpartum and have diastis recti, approaching these exercises without a minimum of instruction i.e keep your abdominal muscles tight/ keep your belly button drawn towards the spine can possibly cause possible harm to some women instead of assisting them in rebuilding their strength postpartum. Hopefully this will be considered as some helpful positive feedback and thanks again for the video.
@PregnancyandPostpartumTV4 жыл бұрын
Maxine Keleher Hi Maxine :) Thank you so much for the feedback. It is really helpful. I was hearing that people were annoyed at people talking too much so I was trying to not say a lot, but I think you are right. It’s so important for moms postpartum. I will definitely add more instructions in the next ones. I appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback 💕

Hi Charlotte! Yes, it can still help, but it will take longer to heal. Likely several months. Also be careful not to do any exercise / movement that causes “coning” during this time when you are trying to heal. I found a belly wrap helped as well :)

The exercises will help with weight management and healing DR gap :) It’s not possibly to spot treat belly fat, but will assist with overall weight loss and toning. It definitely helped flatten and tone my tummy after baby #3

Thank you for the reply. I been doing postnatal yoga since 2 days. Feeling great. Buy I get confuse sometimes when to inhale, exhale. Is postnatal yoga alone enough or this postnatal HIIT workout also include after doing yoga everyday or 1 day yoga, next day postnatal HIIT ? Max how many months do I need to follow to see the results? I am beginner level in exercise, that's why bombarding you with too many questions 😁 Please Apologize. Thank you
@PregnancyandPostpartumTV4 жыл бұрын
Those are great questions :) Yes, I think alternating yoga with the HIIT workout is a great idea. Your fitness and energy should go up within a couple weeks and it may take 1-2 months for others to see differences. What if you just became someone who worked out ... in a year and the next year you would see incredible results. I find that most of my clients do better if they reward themselves for the process (ex. Workouts) rather than the results. The results will come if you stick to the process
@jahnavivaradharaman75374 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the reply. I seen your DR gap fix workouts?? Shall I first do DR fix workouts then do yoga or HIIT or directly I do yoga/hiit?

I don’t understand how the rolling and bending is safe for DR?
@PregnancyandPostpartumTV5 жыл бұрын
Hello! Definitely don’t do anything that feels unsafe for you or causes any coning or doming. Some moms with DR can engage their core and bend while others are much more restricted. I’m not sure what rolling you are referring to, but a pelvic floor physio would be able to let you know what is safe for you. Merry Christmas to you and your family. 🎄
