I went to my hairdresser about 7 months postpartum and had a lot of shedding going on. It looked as though half my hair ended up in the drain. I was not concerned as I had experienced this before. The hairdresser however was unaware of this phenomenon.

It is insane how some hairdressers lack this basic knowledge! I feel like this has to be part of the basic training for them since its such a common thing!

Thank you for this video! It was very informative. I experienced post-partum shedding....which lasted 9 months. I have 4b hair and my new growth is looser in texture especially around the perimeter of my head. My hair is also drier...as a result I alternate between protein and deep conditioning treatments. I also suffered from vit d deficiency and now take supplements.
