Once your avocados start to get close to your preferred ripeness, wrap them up in a paper bag and put them in the fridge. It’s saved me like 1-2 weeks when I get too many at once. Little solution that I hope works for you too

You can also put them in a cup of water in the fridge and it keeps them the same ripeness so they don’t get over ripe !

I just put them in the fridge, not in a paper bag. My grandma used to put them in a paper bag to ripen them faster on the countertop because the bag holds in the gases that some fruits give off making them ripen quicker.

You could freeze some of the avocados, cut in small cubes, to use for smoothies.

HOAs are so scary to me, i've only ever heard awful things about people with too much time and not enough to do with it letting power get to their head... but i'm glad it seems like no one freaked out on you for doing a good thing!! much love to you and whole fam 💜☺️

🥑🍋🍊🍌 Quick tip on storing fruit in particular (I don’t know if it’s common knowledge elsewhere but each time I mention it to people in my life it seems to be new)…. storing things with citrus fruits makes things ripen faster - so if you have hard avocados you can speed up the ripening process by popping them next to each other (same for bananas etc)… and of course the opposite if you want them to hold on longer keep away from citrus & fridge helps too 😊

So interesting you do color correcting last. I start with color first so I have the full clip done before I cut it all up. But I'm using Davinci Resolve so it could be easier on the Mac.

I match color across the video and color correct cut to cut. That’s just the typical color workflow in professional finishing.

During the holidays I had an Instacart issue like you - I didn’t get the one thing I really needed and I got items I didn’t need or even eat like chocolate eggo so when you said you had more bags than you ordered I knew you were going to have to deal with what was left. Doesn’t make sense to me because it means the person who ordered those groceries is out and the store is out as they have to issue refunds. 😂

It would have been better if it was food I could have realistically eaten in a week 😭😭😭

I stopped by the store for a friend recently and one item was "a bunch of carrots" so I bought a bunch. As in a lot. She meant one "bunch" of carrots 😂
