So nice to hear people talk about post partum in such a real way and great to hear the male perspective!! Your mentioning a pelvic PT in your pregnancy video about how you’re getting ready for birth was the first time I had heard about that existing and really helped me!! I am 7 weeks PP now and seeing one and it’s been super helpful!!

I appreciate the conversation with the physical therapist! Also, the time and effort you put into the set up and editing (like with the cushion that appears btwn you two) you did to make it look aesthetically pleasing to the viewer! Thank you for your time and efforts!

I was a military wife with my first and no one even looked at my vagina after giving birth and being stitched up. I was 21 and with this being my first I had no idea I was supposed to be checked. My next baby I will be advocating so much more for myself and doing this! I had some problems after birth and had no help from my doctors. Thank you so much for this video.

I truly appreciate your husband's perspective and appreciation for this! It really shows how strong your relationship is! ❤

What I've learned is that you don't have to wait till you are fit for intercourse to be intimate. Even during the recovery period, you can still be intimate with your husband by only engaging in foreplay (but avoid the vag). Once you're fit for intercourse, then you can throw intercourse back into your sexual routine. That worked tremendously for me and my husband and it's such a relief to be able to be intimate with him instead of holding back my sexual urges for the entire postpartum period until I was fit for intercourse.

I wish a pelvic floor PT was an option for me! Seems like such a great resource honestly for people who can afford it/live somewhere something like that isn’t out of pocket or likely to be declined by insurance

So great that your able to share your experience & this knowledge! I had to have an unexpected cesarean with the my baby girl. After I had my little girl, not only did I have a lot of pain but I had to come to terms with looking at my scar, and touching it. I remember feeling SO scared to have sex for the first time. It took me months because it was very uncomfortable. 4 months later and it’s just starting to feel “normal” again. Unfortunately it’s still taking me time to accept my new scar. It’s still tender to the touch and a purplish in colour. I never expected to still be trying to accept these changes after giving birth.

The fact that women can literally die from childbirth...and all men do is complain about going without sex... like theyve never had to go without it before... is so gross to me. This is honestly the primary reason why I have decided not to have children.

Super informative, love when you have your husband in your videos. Nice to hear his POV. I deff struggled and had to see a pelvic floor physio when my baby girl was born and my pt introduced me to the device Perifit which had been instrumental in strengthening my pelvic floor and bladder lol 🥲😅
