I watched almost all of your videos during my pregnancy and was able to have my baby girl naturally, no epidural, and no tears as a first-time mom! ❤My contractions lasted for a day but just felt like strong period cramps, so I didn't go to the hospital. Shortly before midnight, they got more intense, so we drove to the hospital, and when we arrived, I was already at 10cm! I only pushed for 30 min. and baby girl was born perfect at 1:15am 🥰 Thanks for all your positive encouragement and tips! 😘

Melaninated woman please understand this list is not for us ! As alot of things she listed in this videos . ALOT of what we think are “ healthy “ diets were not made for black / brown people .. we have to understand this and do through research before consuming the diet of someone with a completely different genetic makeup then us .. Wheat is a # 1 melanin killer . Broccoli is a HYBRID ( another melanin killer ) BEANS are hot for US .. others may be able to consume them but they were not made for melaninated beings i recommend you all follow my doula @KrystalAlkaline on fb and here on KZbin . I think the best thing to do, even before pregnancy, is to learn how to eat intuitively with gentle nutrition. Learning how to listen to my body while eating to satisfaction AND health is invaluable. not only does it make pregnancy and postpartum just slightly easier, but it's knowledge I can pass down to my children so they can be health and happy too.

3 weeks PP with baby number 2 (had all natural and am so proud of myself), but still 24 lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight. I started walking just a slow 1.5 mile walk this week and trying to stay hydrated for breastfeeding. I do take a beef liver supplement for iron as I have a hard time eating a lot of meat, and trying to eat healthier snacks too. Both kids are 100% vaccine free 💪

I was suffering from extreme edema during my pregnancy and I am 4 days PP and I thought that my swelling would go down.. but it is actually a lot worse. I drink sooo much water because I am breast feeding. I am eating a lot and mostly good healthy foods. My face, hands, and legs feet and ankles are all very sore and swollen… it’s difficult to walk and shoes are impossible. I ordered some vitamins, PP detox tea, and Epsom salts to hopefully help me relieve my body swelling. I was induced with potocin and had an epidural.. I expected to have some extra swelling due to the extra fluids from the IV.. but i didn’t expect my swelling to get worse in my legs and feet.. I have swollen eyes and all of my sinuses are swollen too.. like watery eyes and sinus pressure. I am going to add some of your tips as well to hopefully help with my symptoms. Thank you.

@justamags2 жыл бұрын
My favorite recipes come from Bon Appetite. Their Master Stock by Brad Leone, along their beef stock, or chicken stock are all awesome. You can start with recipes like those and do some riffs of your own things. The important thing is letting it reduce for several hours to get the nutrients out of the bones. Usually you can take a small sample and put it in your fridge, and if in several hours it has a gelatinous quality, you know you've got a hearty stock with lots of nutrients. It takes time, but it's so worth it! Bone broth is a staple in our house even before I found out I was pregnant with our first this summer! Enjoy!

I love your videos. They really helped me during pregnancy. What irritates me is that you talk about eating lentil, beans and oranges... I recall want to eat them, but when I do, my baby who I breastfeed, looks like she is going to explode.... And the acid from citrus fruit give her a red butt.... I feel really washed out sometimes, especially because I can't eat beans, chickpeas etc... Does anybody know how I could help my baby be less gassy if I eat these foods?
