This was my first Pokémon game, back in 2020 when I got my switch. I don’t care what people say about it, but I really liked SWSH and still do. This theme will always hold a special place in my heart, and so will this game.

I am 12 years old while writing this comment, I just beat the game and I feel I accomplished with something incredible, that I will continue doing with more and more Pokémon games to come. I’m also exhausted after playing because it was harder than I expected but still I had a lot of fun, and I thank the Pokémon that helped me along the way... and I will never forget this game.. maybe not the best with more great games to come but I will always have a soft spot for it.. I will be revisiting this game in the future.. hungry for more

If I may- you should play Diamond and Pearl. Give the older games a chance. As much as Sword and Shield were great games that don't deserve the hate they get, MAN are the older games superior.

This goes lovely with some tea! But the city's and towns in Galar don't have "City" or "Town" in their name anymore in the English version, so it's just "Postwick" actually. I like that they did that.

i feel like its more better but at the same time it isnt since most pokemon games have town and city in their names, just like real life areas, but now it goes straight to the point and i have mixed feelings about it

@@rogue1248 english towns and cities dont have the town/city suffix unless youre talking in a really formal sense, so them not having it is a lot more realistic for the country the region is based on

I believe so. Sword and Shield is getting the same treatment that X and Y, Sun and Moon, Diamond and Pearl, Gold and Silver, all those games got- right now, all the retro purists are gonna hate on it, but as time goes on, (and Game Freak decides to remake it a million times like Diamond and Pearl) I get the feeling Sword and Shield will get the respect it deserves.

Honestly it made sense cause Hop never lost the mindset that he would never beat his brother, or us the main character, even towards the end of the game. The good thing is that he never lost his love for Pokemon, and that's what matters most :)

I think that Sword/Shield are decent games but not excellent and that is due to the cities lacking content like in Ballonlea there were only 2 houses and a Pokemon Center and in Turffield there were houses in the background that you couldn’t enter and the Stadium and the Pokemon Center were the only buildings you can enter. Spikemuth is only a 2D city which cannot be explored at all, it only exists for the Gym Challenge. Had they put more effort to make the cities feel alive and explorable fully then these games would have been excellent games, however as it stands now they are just decent. I like the soundtrack for this game and especially Stow on Side i like the characters but the story is only decent and there is a certain lack of depth to the cities and the caves as i mentioned before
