Hello, guys🐧
I found that the next full build project will take at least three weeks, and I wanted to post something real quick. Designing and scribing extra panel lines alone took me 14 days so far. Eventually, MG Eclipse almost took me two weeks to finish. Because scribing, food ASMR, postproduction, and transforming sequence kicked in. More badly, Hi-ν is going to be released on the 11th of this month. I was expecting the kit will be released on the 26th. So I am running out of time again🐱
From Wing Gundam Ver. Ka, I've been tried to find better image quality than MGEX. The clean neutral look of MGEX is good, but I felt like the look lacking the feeling of craft. Due to the experiment, Gundam Artifact and PG Unleashed footage turned out so badly. Especially, PG Unleashed recorded the worst audience retention out of all videos I posted on this channel. That is why I did intense ending to compensate for the quality🐶
After nine months of trial and error with the new workflow, I am finally see something reasonable. I've already found problems in smoothness, shadow transitions, etc. Currently, I haven't found a solution. However, I'm not going to look into the image quality too further. I will keep continuing to look around, but I want to move on. I've fixed errors in the dark region, so you'd find much better results than PG Unleashed🐯
The next full build will probably be Hi-ν, but I'm not sure yet. Stay tuned for the next🦍

Hey Potan! Love all of these Gunpla builds. I was wondering if you've run into any plastic weakening issues regarding the panel liner you use? I've read that it eats uncoated plastic and that you'd need to put on a clear coat or gloss coat before using it directly on the plastic. But I've also heard of people not doing any of that and not having any issues.

I've personally had inconsistent experiences with this issue. I have a theory that when the panel liner isn't properly mixed, you get more thinner than paint and that causes the problem. You could absolutely use a clear coat, but if you didn't want to bother with that you could try making your own panel liner with watered down acrylic paint. Gives you more control over the color without having to worry about harming the plastic.

Regardless of clear coat, finish panel lining while parts are de-assembled is ideal. Thinner will invade the places where pressure is occurring.
