Why is Raya still so thin and tiny after giving birth to Oji? She is no longer a teenager girl. Her coat is flimsy. Does she feel warm in cold weather?

Because Raya was still occasionally allowing Oji to nurse even though he was already weaned. A mother canid's hormones are constantly fluctuating while she produces milk. This will cause her to go into a very deep shed, which is very natural & expected. She's lost her undercoat, which gives the Shibas a very fluffy appearance. Suki, too, went through the same thing with all of her litters as well, as do all female canids while nursing their young. As soon as Oji stopped nursing, in time, Raya's hormones regulated & returned back to normal & her fur has all grown back. If she was cold, I'm sure Oliver put her in one of Suki's warm sweaters while out on walks, or maybe she has one of her own. 😊 Currently, the Shibas all have their very thick & fluffy coats, including Raya. 💛
