Love the Magimix, but this is not a classic Gratin Dauphinoise. You need to pre-cook the potatoes and definitely NO cheese. Also, unless I have missed it, where is the garlic (rub or sprinkle on bottom of dish) and for sure no dried or fresh thyme. Further, where is salt and pepper, mandatory to season the liquid. The milk/cream mixture must thicken slightly, potato slices should be pre-cooked in the liquid. Would be interested in getting temperatures, time and speed for a recipe which follows the above: Milk and cream with salt, pepper, nutmeg and the sliced potatoes (I will test as well on my own).
