@evilfriedchicken5965
@evilfriedchicken5965 4 жыл бұрын
@@alailailloo Comparing the total amount of bought food is useless, as you already noticed. We'd better look at the ratio of bought food to eaten food, and here the total amount of food makes a difference: Assume you buy your groceries with 20% inaccuracy, meaning you under- or overestimate how much you're going to eat by 20% on average. If you buy 20 carrots and only use 80% of them, 4 are left. If you only buy 5, still making an error of 20%, there's only one carrot left. Thus, more leftovers in absolute numbers. If everyone bought their groceries with perfect accuracy, there wouldn't be any leftovers at all and this discussion wouldn't make much sense, so we should go with the previous scenario. So much for absolute numbers, but the the relative numbers might differ as well: People who eat a lot may actually be worse at predicting their future food intake, because a larger stomach means that natural fluctuations of your stomach size have a larger absolute impact on how much food you can take.

KZbin ads are decided for each individual user by an algorithm based on their watching and browsing history, as well as their tendencies (picking certain videos and not picking others also affects this algorithm, like it decides you hate X because you didn't feel like watching it that day). Other stuff affects it too, like age and gender, Google search history, the apps you use etc. So OP got the ad because they're probably looking into alcoholic products and like watching BWB.

When I was a kid, one of my favourite dinners was 'Mr. Greedy's Grub' from The Mr. Men Cookbook. It was a simple recipe: put alternating layers of chopped potato and sliced onion in a pot, add water, and boil until the onion is soft, the potato starts to break down, forming something like wet mashed potatoes but with a wonderful onion flavour. Then add chopped fried sausage (or corned beef, the book suggested, though we never did) and serve. I'm not really sure what it's really called; I've never seen another recipe like it. I'd love to see what you make of it!

The potato dish is very reminiscent of a Tunisian dish that's called potato shakshuka, it has a Tunisian spice mix called Bajar. Only thing I remember that's certainly in it is cinnamon, but there's probably some cumin as well, along with other stuff. Anyway the dish is chopped onions fried with paprika, then the potatoes and the Bajar, top with some eggs cooked to your liking, and serve with a white crunchy absorbent bread of your choice. If I wasn't as drunk as I am right now, I'd look up the actual recipe and translate it. Thanks to Google for autocorrect

I've been pulling my bacon in the center for a while now. It's to help the bacon fit in the pan so the ends cook nicely. Pans are hottest around the center and coldest at the sides, pulling the ends in by pinching the center helps a lot with evenly cooking the bacon. Once it shrinks, you can just flatten it out and cook it as you usually would.

Thanks for the meal idea! I just made it for my wife but with my own spin to it. Here's how I did mine: I made the bacon first then used the bacon fat to fry the chopped up onion. I seasoned with oregano, celery salt, and chives. After that I added the cubed potatoes and chopped bacon. I then sectioned off the 4 eggs till done.. O yes, I also used a pinch of cayenne pepper..
