I can't believe all you can get done in a day sometimes but just want you to know much much I've appreciated watching you. It's become part of my day and I'm preparing to start a reset too! You are so motivational. Thank you for the consistent output, you are a joy to watch 💛

Ami! You crack me up! “Sticks and leaves and be all natural “. 😂 Thank you for the laughs and motivation. You’re amazing doing all the daily media content. I love it and I appreciate you! ❤ edited to add, a thank you for mentioning portion sizes. Some may not realize a nursing mom needs more fuel than say a menopausal woman.

You have helped me immensely with eating my veggies in the morning simply by using your method of preparing them. I used to put them in a steamer, where the water is below & the veggies sit in a vessel on top. Your way - in a large pan, with a little water, and a lid, over medium heat - there's way more flavor! Especially cauliflower and cabbage, which can tend to be bland, Prior to watching you, my purple cabbage would come out all washed out, using the steamer. Now, "your way," the purple cabbage retains its vibrant purple color & its sweet flavor. I love the taste so much more. Who knew?? Thank you for that nugget of information.

@kefir heals Really appreciate your comment. I have started eating veggies for breakfast too but have always steamed them. After you noting that they have more flavour doing them in a pan, I am going to try doing them that way. Thanks.

@@margaretgiudice7698 OMG - you won't believe the difference! Now I do my brussel sprouts (halved) and cut carrots that way too. And they come out so delicious. I even stopped using the garlic and soy sauce because they are so delicious plain. Then top those hot veggies with hummus like Ami does and it's just perfection.

You're doing so well giving your kids the nutrition they need. Wish I went vegan when my daughter was very young 🌱

Your kids are so lucky to grow up on such nutritious food with such a supportive mom! I really admire your stance on raising vegan kids. I myself am just trying to incorporate more vegetables/vegetarian meals into my life and this channel is inspiring. Maybe someday I'll be able to do my own potato reset! Thanks Ami, keep on keeping on :)

I have the same problem with pre-breakfast veg so have been having a green smoothie in the morning before going to my all-time favourite breakfast of steel cut oats. Seems to be working for me and gets those veggies in first thing in the morning. 🙂

@@thespiritualistoslo what ingredients are in your green smoothie please 🙏
@thespiritualistoslo Жыл бұрын
@@tonisharp8747 I fill a blender 75% full with greens (kale, spinach, bok choy, cabbage or anything like that) pressed down hard so I really stuff it in. I fill with water even to the top of the greens. Then I add 1-2 tablespoons of linseed or chia, some forzen fruit and a banana. The seeds are supposed to help the digestion go at the best possible speed and the fruit makes it sweet enough to be nice and not bitter.

Great to see food with such a variety of textures as often it’s just soup/stew or roast potatoes. Sauces are great for WFPB food : just steam greens & add sauce. Greens contain thylakoids & these help curb hunger & stop craving 👍

You are doing so well with your kids. I have started late in the game and my kids are VERY resistant (ages 12 and 14). I do make whole food plant based or vegan food and they begrudingly eat things. Although, if I don't say what it is, they seem to like what I make, especially the goodies. I make a yummy sweet potato chocolate smoothie for my son. And I make a yummy garlic sauce to put in a pasta meal.

I ate my tomato soup and hashed potato cakes while watching this video. You talked about your Aunt and she had the cheesy hash brown bake, so I quickly grabbed my potato reset papers, but I didn’t see the recipe for that gem. Sounds wonderful though!
