Yeah I chose that paint because a lot of later war helmets were in that colour and everyone seems to be doing generic feldgrau.. And thanks, I am working on a video showing all the variations of M31 liners that you can come across. Thanks! Luis

You need to be patient, but if you are I think you can find good shells anywhere and end up avoiding all the done up relic helmets with giant holes in them. But thank you!

Hello - if you could find a sand blaster that might work faster and better but we have to use what is at hand. I still have a shell out in the garage from the last time we talked to be worked on!

Hi, well it depends, on stubborn paint it would certainly be helpful. On the black Czechoslovak helmets, thinner usually works very well and preserves the patina as well. And yeah, better get to it!
