What surprised me the most about the M3, as an upgrade to the M2, is that it can hold some full-frame cameras even with smaller zooms. This makes this gimbal a hell more flexible for a wider group of people. Cannot wait to see how the market reacts to another revolution from Zhiyun.

I feel like buying a CRANE M3 for my own. It is literally the most ideal gimbal for ZV-E10, no matter the design, size or payload. they just perfectly fit on ZV-E10. DJI makes great gimbals, to be honest, but I would rather swap to ZHIYUN this time.

@@KAPhotography thanks for the info. On their website it says none of the controls on the gimbal will work with the zv-e01 🤷‍♂️ It seems like they only support a small number of cameras. Sony have a simple and free API for camera control via Bluetooth or WiFi so I'm not sure why these gimbal companies don't make use of that 🤷‍♂️

At least they make the record button works its fine. Thst is the most important on all button tue focus wheel is useless anyway. But it doesnt work. Yes its small gimbal with powerful motor in it but still the buttons are USELESS

Good job Dylan. I have a RSC2 but rarely take it out because of its heavy weight. Have dreamt about a gimbal with lighter weight but can carry my A7s3. Small compactibility and payload of M3 does amaze me, I will definately give it a try. 369usd is acceptable for me if it is light enough for more daily uses.

Can't find the payload capacity anywhere, for $169 is more convenient the Moza Mini P, can even fit a heavy Nikon D7200 with a 50mm lens, but this is quite complete option if you don't have light, mic and other accessories

When using this gimbal (when properly balanced), do you feel a slight vibration in your hand while recording ?. For me it happens quite often and I don't know if it should be so or if my gimbal is faulty. I had zhyiun m2 before and nothing like that happened there.

Question is, will it improve smoothness compared to an the M2 with the same camera on it? It's double the price after all. So if better sensors, improved software and computational power are part of the package I would be intrigued. Don't really need the higher payload.

I used to use the m2 with my Nikon 1's, which was awesome as the whole kit was so light you could easily hold it on a 15ft pole for jib/crane shots. Super handy for travel (collapsible pole). It struggled and didn't have the clearance to hold my xt3 properly, but for simple pans and timelapses with a smaller lens it was still very useful.
