Asked in WG stream once why they use the cap timer mod themselves during streaming official tournaments and do not implement it into the game themselves. They said that most people would not need such detailed extra information and there's not much to gain from it 😂😂😂

I have a small handful of ideas that would reinvigorate this game with a few customizability options that would make players have more fun with more of their ships and allow for more playstyles across the board. Perhaps I'll put together a video of it and ask PQ for his commentary. I'll give you an idea of what I'm thinking with this: Make ALL DD's have 3 choices of torpedo technology: a choice between max range torps of 20km, 15kms, and 10kms, with different speeds and detection ranges. This nonsense with each ship having it's own specific range of torps is absolutely boring. It forces people to play particular ships because those ships meet their needs for their range and detectability. This flies in the face of enabling a player to choose to play a wider range of ships that they would rather play, but they don't because there are clearly ships that simply outperform them in every way. When a ships identity makes it better than all the others at its job, that's a limitation, and limitation on fun at that. I have no incentive to play a torp boat outside my Shimakaze. Shima is the best. Period. See how that can make the game dull and samey? 2ndly, I want to have more choice and control over customizing the loadout of my ship, perhaps even the armored sections? I imagine being able to modify the hull strength, with drawbacks or enhancements to speed/physics. For example, imagine adding extra armor to your icebreaker, in exchange for higher chance to deflect when angled, but at the cost of slower turning speed physics. Little changes like this would open this game up to so many people to have a lore more fun and innovation in their decisions in loadout, and in the game. This game sorely needs more player choice and customizability. The cmdr talents are totally boring and we need to double the options we can choose from, and make this game more fun, and increase the pace of it just a little bit.

You should have shot him when you and him pointed broadsides at eachother, you're khaba! I own khaba, and I hate it honestly... but those guns are amazingly accurate. PQ shoulda been burning and taking a couple salvos and using smoke, but you were scared to stay visible. Don't be scared to take heat as a DD, especially a gunboat, you can dodge better than every other ship in the game. And khaba is very fast. You coulda changed the game for your team if PQ's team had focused you and missed most their shots. Good DD's win games. I hope you continue learning the role, it's fun.
