Bought one of those and couldn't even get it to fly. DJI took it back. A drone that doesn't fly brand new from the box does not impress. I'm considering one of these.

If you look at any potensic video on youtube, there is always a comment saying to get a dji. It's obvious that dji considers potensic as a strong alternative or they wouldn't be trolling all of their stuff.

@@brianmcneil273 Well I have the Mini 2 SE in a box for return and just ordered the Atom 4K with the fly more kit. Still another Chinese company but hopefully it will fly out of the box which is kind of the minimum thing one should be able to ask for. Lots of people love their DJI products but I'm new to the game and after some more research (which maybe I should've done more in the first place) I'm not sold on their stuff. I think you pay another 10% for the name.

I think that the money that is saved makes up for video quality! I think that video quality is subjective to ones own taste so from that stand point the atom is a winner!

It is the Mojave Narrows Regional Park. My favorite place. However, it is now littered with Goathead plants!! The recent rains have erupted these plants from below the ground. You may know them by Devil's Thorn or just Stickers. Nasty little shits!

Thanks! I had the white balance to auto in the settings but you can set it yourself which is nice. This is how it behaves right out of the box. Yeah, my backyard sucks too!

Thanks! The gimbal is working really well. No tilted horizon but the yaw at times will flicker. The controls are amazing!! As you see in this video, I was trying to showcase the lowest input for the yaw as I was making the turns around the lake. Very precise. We have here a serious contender for dji. $299 for 1 batt. $399 for 3 batts and 3 batt charge station. The special functions or the Quick Shots are impressive too. Full review coming soon :)

That is the yaw axis not doing the best job on the 3 axis gimbal.

It flys amazing and the video quality is great. im now trying to find out how to add audio to the videos, Battery life is great too. One thing i did wrong is i turned it on before taking the gimble protector out, so keep that in mind. Good luck

A video editing software program like Topaz Video AI with its frame interpolation tool would eliminate the jerking caused by the transmission lag. You can also change the frame rate from 30 fps to 60 or higher. Definitely worth the cost of the program if you are picky about how your videos turn out.
