Potholder with t shirt yarn tutorial

Finishing nail, has a dimple on top so it can be sunk below the surface with a nail set then covered with putty. I recommend using some 300 grit sand paper or a file in case some of the nails have a burr, which isn’t common but when I used these nails to make a skarf knitter it still had sharp spots even though they were supposed to be smooth, also could be the quality of the finish nails

If you start the taking of at the corner the loose ends are, you can finisch of the coaster pulling through the last end I find that more neat

I'm so glad you did a video on this, I have both the Potholder Loom and the Potholder Pro but it's so expensive to buy the loops they sell to go with both of these looms. I didn't know about the t-shirt yarn so I'll order that. But you mentioned you did a video on using wool for the potholders and I don't see it listed below your video. Could you please post that? I have lots of yarn that I could use like this. Also, do you think I could use your same technique on the Potholder Pro instead of making my own loom? I'm thinking it will work with those as well. Thanks so much for always sharing your knowledge with us. I try to watch everything you post but somehow I missed the one about the wool on the loom.

If whilst you're weaving and you don't like it... don't stop and start over midstream. It only takes a few minutes to make these. Go ahead and finish it, as things happen when you take it off the loom. The yarns contract and you may like it much better once it's off the loom. They are called Finishing nails in the US

In the US, we call that type of nail a brad or a finishing nail.
