If you arrange your rooms so you have two smaller rooms on the left, then you can make use of the full area available to you per floor.

There used to be a potion themed tycoon i remember it was quite difficult as we need to compete in each stage and manage marketing and logistic

The icon in the upper left corner of each room will tell you what the room's current rating is. So far I've learned that Adepts require a rating of 10, and level 3 people require a rating of 20. I'm not sure if Novices require 0 or 5. I know they don't like a negative rating. The cooker, kiln, and drier all have a -10 rating, so it can be good to actually put them in separate rooms.

If you're interested, I'll try to describe it: agar-ic, with the "ag" pronouced like it is in "agriculture". The "ic" is pronounced like "ick". So basically just slightly more emphasis on the "ar" sound in the middle.
