I found that if you use the potion (memory?) that saves a trait in the upgrades, you can get both/more than one upgrade from that trait level

Memorise potion is a intresting one too. u can do a lot of fun things with it. For example archer. Her Proficient Stance 1-3 gives u to choose between crit chance and damage or projectiles. BUT. With this potion u can get both. It works like this. You get PS 1 lvl crit upgrade . Lock it with potion. Then when u get PS 1 lvl amount upgrade. Take it. And locked trait stays as level 1 trait. Repeat with lvl 2 and 3. u get + 15 crit chance + 70 crit damage AND + 0.5 amount without double trait potion. Sorry for bad Eanglish)

@20:30 I think, but can't check the game right now, that this game's Damage tracking is only actual damage done, not overkill. So a 1000 dmg Lightning Strike kills a 50 HP Skeleton, that's just 50. I do think this exact scenario came up trying to help someone with the Lightning Strike damage achievement.

I did a really short test. It looks like its capped to actual damage, but it also gets confusing because the damage to fire places (the one that burn the floor) seems to also be accounted for, but not boxes or...just...sometimes. It's weird but shouldn't matter for the rest of the point, just something fun.

Could you come out with a general guide? Like when to grab scrolls, potions, ability prio, maybe level up skills prio for different chars how the upgrades work specifically. maybe touch into some of the gear? A lot of my friends have recently got the game along with myself and we find ourselves asking a lot of questions to each other and not really having answers.

To be more successfull, take a scroll and wait until you have three updates for it. After the third update you can take the next scroll and get an additional effect to your prevoius choice. If you wish to further upgrade your choice, take another 3 updates, before getting the next scroll. Also always keep and be near a magnet at the end game. Take the magnet close to the boss battle. And ofc don't move around too much, to get more xp. If you just start, take a look at the "missions" you can do and make sure to secure items and bottles, before you try to go big.

After running an overlay on the video, it looks like the spawned metiors are acting more like Peachone instead of Clock Lancet. The spawned direction continuing to rotate and spitting out metiors when their cool down hits.

When you stand still and shoot your bow, the meteors hit empty space (because the bow does so much damage that the enemies don't have a chance to enter the areas where most of the meteors hit, therefore it's kinda natural that the meteor damage falls off compared to bow. In reality it doesn't, enemies just don't get a chance to reach meteor range.

The bow is able to get that damage because it benefits from the same things but in addition it is benefiting from piercing and more overall crits. Less damage per hit but many many more hits

If you hover over the DPS value at the end of the run, it says that it's the value over the past 30 seconds, not across the entire run. Maybe that's what was causing the discrepancy?

Every map has an achievement unlock for the starting scrolls, look for it in the quest column at the start.

honestly, the best class in this game is the warrior. no damage drop off like the cleric, the attack doesn't stop it from peacing if it hits a shield, and has long reach.... shield maidan. is pretty good too, i think you can get your slam attack to get it to hit behind you so nothing can hit you if you have high crit and pretty much do 5k a normal attack... i still like the warrior more tho... boss fights, i think maiden is better.

Yeah, that is the Games that are great.... "...and thenm you come along a Video like this and the Screen is full of Explosions." Exactly that is what makes it great. Seriously, that was D2s strongsuit - masses of Enemys and a Skillsystem that allows you to stack up your Skills to nuke em. Corpse explosion - nuff said. D3 tried to et that, but they missed the Satisfaction. This Game? It totally has it.

I don't get how the ability leveling works. when do I know to pick up a scroll so i can upgrade an ability ? in order to not get too many different ones and actually strengthen what i have ?

Get the Trait to lvl 3 for the first upgrade, lvl 6 for the second. The upgrades need to be unlocked and Golem e.g. only allows 1 upgrade.

Tbh it's really not. You get 1 item per run, but most items are completely useless for most cases, so you just take the best ones back. Also helps that the best ones are early on unlocked when not a lot is available (like the Jade Amulet). The potions are a bit annoying because I don't like the way they are unlocked right now, but it's another thing that just happens over time while you play

You have to rescue a dude from the second map which will unlock your stash with items you can equip before doing a run.

Get it as first weapon on a stage where you have a boss defeated, so you can immediately pick up a card and reset in case you don't get Lightning Strike. I recommend using the Shield Bearer if you are not that far into the game achievements wise, since you don't want to pick another weapon, else you can go for the Archer for additional strikes or anyone who buffs up lightning damage, the Sorceress is not bad - though her main weapon is not great if you go for Lightning Strike as only other ability. The third stage spawns a wave on each end, I think starting at 5 minutes or so, where the stage has cards down. These have infinite HP so you can just walk close to them and the Strikes will deal damage. Alternatively, the 2nd and 3rd stage boss spawn things that take damage, meaning if you turn off auto attacks you can keep the fight going for almost forever while hitting the add ons with your Lightning Strike.

@@DexTag i have, i think all chars and 120 or so achievements, but even when i get Lightning Strike as 1st weapon, i only Deal around 800-900k damage with it each round. I dont know how to get the 3M xD

@@M1CH43L1992 Max out amount and attack speed on it, but as I said the endless approach in a boss fight is the easiest way. @@M1CH43L1992 unless an achievement states that it has to be done on a specific stage (I dont even think one exists aside from those that need specific enemies) you can do them anywhere

Honestly I don't think the damage numbers in this game are always correct. Meteor was killing almost everything for quite a while by the time you checked. And heck the bow wasn't even doing much damage. There's probably some kind of glitch where meteor damage counts as bow damage instead since the meteor damage seemed way too low for bombing thousands of enemies with almost 1000 damage each. When you kill 10K with it that should be 10+ million damage.

These videos are rather goal oriented, like I want to do something specific. In some cases, I will pick up additional weapons because they unlock upgrades I want to have, e.g. Lightning Strike unlocks Area, Range and Crit related upgrades. If the weapon I want to focus on doesn't have it available, then I get it just to have them. In the case here, we had everything, so I just fully wanted to focus on Meteor Strike. In other words, the video is not about being optimized
