You can also "borrow" wire cutters from the household tool box till you get some for your jewelry supplies. Thanks foe a great tutorial ❤

I love this tutorial! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I had been looking for a good video for this type of bracelet. Your directions on doing this were so clear and I could understand clearly what to do. I am going to use this technique also to make rings. Thank you again!!!

Hi Allie another great tutorial and great instructions I was wondering how do you measure the memory wire you said twice as big as your wrist I always have trouble making it equal on both sides I have the two 1/4 & the child size memory wire

I bought the 2.25 and I agree, it's a bit too large. I wish I'd have gotten the 2 inch instead because even with the spring back, they stretch out just a tiny bit.

Your tutorial is very good except some of it was off camera. Especially when you are doing the wire loops.

hi, great tutorial, thanks, just wanted to ask: do the end loops scratch skin? cheers
@Potomacbeadco9 жыл бұрын
No, because the cut portion is folded in upon itself to make the loop.

@jmp1329able8 жыл бұрын
Absolutely love your tutorial! Just 1 question, do we need a memory wire cutter or just a normal wire cutter will do?
@Potomacbeadco8 жыл бұрын
Memory wire will over time destroy regular wire cutters. If you have a scrap wire cutter that you don't care about, then you can use that, but otherwise, I would get a special memory wire cutter.
@SharonE3335 жыл бұрын
I use a lot of Craftsman hand tools, cutters, they work really good and take rough use. And they can be replaced free within a years time., as many times as needed.

im having a terrible time trying to make these. I get totally confused when it comes to which way to bend the wires and just as you were doing the last one, it went out of shot, so im still totally and utterly confused. Any ideas to help me.....please. Im very BAD with trying to follow and figure out about directions like which way to turn the loops etc, so I think that is why I am having a horrific time trying to understand it.
@chrisallen19348 жыл бұрын
Lindy Hawthorne it looks like the loops need to bend in opposite directions. One bent toward your fingertips and the other toward you elbow. Hope that helps.

I've tried memory wire pieces in the past and I found that the material looks awful in just a few weeks it starts to turn colors and tarnish. Is this just the norm with memory wire or are there different types I should be looking to use?

@chrisallen19348 жыл бұрын
The audio on this video is super helpful and instructive, but I'd recommend replacing the video so that people can see your hand work with your pliers and wire. We're missing the critical part. Thanks!
@Potomacbeadco8 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris, not sure what "critical part" you are referring to... in briefly checking over the video it looks like hands are in frame 99% of the time. That is actually quite a challenge with wire working, but can't really find major problems that would require a remake (considering there are over 100 new videos in the pending queue)
@lishol77 жыл бұрын
I can't believe how hard this is! The video is clear but u can't translate this to reality. (sigh) maybe it's because I'm left handed. The first turn is fine but the second one is backward every single time.
