Wow, your method is far better than the British method. We have to inject air bubbles and watch it move during the transpiration. Very fiddley but, this way is excellent. Thanks a bunch!

This type of potometer doesn't measure how far the bubble is moving, instead it measures the amount of water loss from transpiration. Therefore it doesn't require the 'reservoir' nor the water supply AKA water beaker at the other end.

The british method is more precise since it measures the bubble rather than the water loss.

what about the the extra water suppl required in the middle of the plant and the other end
