The books were mainly plot focused and since being gay is uncommon why does the book have to represent gay relationships, if none of the main characters are gay, which would be unlikely and also forced there is no reason to represent a gay relationship, and if there was gay representation in the books it would just be there for the sake of it and people would be equally as annoyed, there really is no winning is there, I don’t see why everything should contain representation

JK Rowling said it after she wrote and published the books. According the English theory in literature an author cannot add more to a book after it is written and published. If you choose to believe Dumbledore is gay just know there is no evidence to support it because JK Rowling has no say on what her books mean anymore, but you can believe it. I don’t have a problem with people believing Dumbledore is gay, I do not because the books did not say and I believe all people are born straight. I normally use an example such as, is a criminal born a criminal. The answer is no, they choose to be that way. The books, which are the only source of info that we have of all of Harry Potter, show no sign that Dumbledore has chosen to be gay.
