Pottery Barn has beautiful things. I can’t stress enough when you purchase furniture, inspect, inspect. I ordered 3 sofas, all had damage, I also ordered 2 chairs that were damaged and I ordered 6 dining chairs where 4 went missing for 4 months. they did replace the damaged items, but you’ll need to send photos of damage (I did the day of arrival and they let me keep until replacements arrived because I got rid of old sofas and we needed to have a place to sit.) If their manufacturing and quality control was as good as their photos they would be hard to beat. Oh and when a product says “in stock and ready to ship”, don’t believe it. I ordered a “in stock and ready to ship” bed comforter for my son when he moved out. It took 3 months to receive. They said it was coming from China and refused to let me cancel even though it hadn’t shipped yet. My son had to go without through the winter for 3 months. I’ve never had problems with their decor.

What, Valentina with seasonal cutsy decor. Love it!!! My house is also black and white but I love to do some seasonal stuff with just pillow covers, dinnerware, and a few accessories. Black and white goes with everything. It makes life fun and I don't get bored with my house. Of course, storage is an issue, but I can live with that. I worked part time at Pottery Barn for 10 years and loved every minute of it. I spent every dime I made there buying their products.

Valentina is my recent obsession; yesterday I downloaded the app and I ordered just about all her suggestions for gifts over Christmas. Our styles mirror each other unlike other designers although McGee & Rebecca are pretty close as well. Just about all my furnishings are Pottery Barn & Restoration but I'm open to H&M home thanks to you Valentina. I live in SW Florida but everything in and outside my house are Alabaster, light greige with accents of smoky blue and now I'm incorporated more and more black. :-) Thanks for all the content - you go girl (and your hubby too)

I had ordered the rug!!! It is beautiful!!! So very forgiving vs a white rug. We ❤ it. Also picked up 2 poufs for our bedroom for extra seating on Super Bowl. You have to sit on them comfy and swivel. Perfect!

The problem with things like this sculptural piece, is that everybody else will have one. Then it will not be special. Collect artesian and special things from the country you were living in. They will always be special and unique. Not factory made.

I ordered side chairs from there in October and they finally came- but they were so small and uncomfortable. Not at all like the display in the store. My husband even asked if they were the same chairs. No one wants to sit in them and we can’t return them. They are now in the basement. 😢
