The drier bug is still in the game, you can leave meat on it for months as long as you eat directly off the drier. Putting metal in the pottery bench allows you to make armor, blade, and ax molds directly from the bench. Try combining an empty mold, a piece of metal, and a stingray barb. Its a fun new entry to the game. Once you harvest the plants from the planters you have to plow the patch to prepare for new seeds. It saves having to build new planters. The centipede crafting is a recipe in the story mode , its in the new SOA3 update. You may be able to craft it in survival too, add honey and the monsteria fruit to see what you get. The lily (purple flowered plant) dressing is for things like ant and bee stings. The antivenom one is tobacco (the pink flowered plant) for snake, scorpion, centipede, and spider bites. kage the lily bandage is for rashes and bee stings and ant bites, the tobacco bandage is for snake/scorpion/centipede bites and poisons, other bandages also so similar things, but for the purpose of growing, you want 2 molinera, plus 1 tobacco plus 2 lily, this will give you 6 bandages which you can turn into 2x tobacco dressings, 2x lily dressings and 2 spare to make what you want, either ash dressings,, or honey dressings or even turn your friend the spider into a bandage. keep up the good work.

Lilly Dressing does the same as tabacco to poison. So they make tabacco kinda senseless. Maybe a bug, but lilly does all what tabacco does an more.

The pottery metal is for the metal casts once you have unlocked it like metal arrowhead,armor,axe,knife

You take the clay mold melted iron and an arrow/stick/axe or knife and craft then get another mold that you put in the forge and get the iron item to craft with then you will have the mold available on the pottery table for faster crafting

jaguar are stealth hunters...they prefer to stalk you from behind and will frequently freeze if you turn and look at them to gauge whether you are safely attackable or not.

I just started the game for the first time, chose the easiest mode. Within 5 seconds I got bittrn by a rattle snake... o boy, I think this is going to be a difficult game...

You don't have to bait traps. That being said, doing so tends to get you critters in the traps faster and more consistently. If you don't bait them, sometimes it can be a while before anything stumbles into them.

Kage why dont you try one of the new locations from SOA. I know theres a cave that leads to those areas. Theres alot of flat grounds at those locations. And then it will also be something new.

In the area under the waterfall near your camp is a piece of obsidian. I used it to make an obsidian spear and save it just for the Jaguar. Killed the stupid thing twice from across the camp...

Fyi cowboys used to dry or "jerk" meat to preserve it. It would last for weeks on the trail.... Now beef jerky is gourmet food 😂

Yeah, that mud thing was pretty good. Im happy to see they still add more stuff to this game, as it has been a bit limited in the past. Although these things with adding more stuff you can build only adds to the game until you build it all, and then the game gets kinda boring... If they did an update to make the hunting more realistic and challenging, so you would have to spend a significant amount of time looking for the animal, and with the animals running away so you have to follow blood trails to track the animal... Maybe with a button you can press that will highlight blood stains on the ground, and with a "tracking" skill that increase every time you find a blood trail to follow, and making it possible to find blood trail from further away or something...

wouldn't it be cool if this game introduced caves.. and like a huge food bonus for eating Native meat.. like 100% for all the food requirements. but to eat it it caused your hair to fall out. Then at some point a plane was shown flying over and crashing near by. .. then just "The Forest" in bold type popped up across the screen. Bam!! you are on the other side of "the forest" game.
