beautiful pieces, where to dry the plates and do I have to cover them cuz mine the rim ends up cracking the third or fourth day.

Pottery needs to dry as slowly and as evenly as possible. Leave them inside, not in direct sunlight, and with plastic loosely covering them. Hopefully that fixes your problem! Other reasons for cracking - make sure any joints (where two pieces attach) are properly attached using the score and slip method and blending them together properly. Also make sure that you wedge your clay before use so that there’s no air bubbles in your piece. Hope this helps!✨

Yes it is plastic, it was 3D printed so that I could have my custom sign but will hopefully find a non plastic solution sometime🌸✨

Hi! May I ask if you do bisque firing prior to glazing? Do you also second fire? Where do you bake your formed clays? I was wondering whether you use a kiln. Ty

Yes I do a bisque fire, glaze, and then a glaze fire. Both firings are in a kiln
