POTTING UP EVERGREENS IN CONTAINERS FOR WINTER!!!

I’ve been thinking of adding winter interest lately as well. In Wi. things are already showing signs of dormancy and turning brown, leaves are falling and the plants are getting ready to go to sleep for the winter. Having some texture and color through the winter months will definitely help. Love your choices..

A few yrs ago I started adding evergreens to my front and back yard areas. And I have several evergreens and conifers in containers now due to voles--and I like these pots so will keep them in pots. I put them in big containers from the start.

I live in zone 6a Indiana. Last year I took my spent mums and put them in my very back yard near my compost area...surprise they all came back! Making a lovely late summer and fall display in an area with usually no interest! You never know, Nick and it costs nothing but a few minutes time to try.
