Roberto Mamani Villa Leo was in loser and riddles was in winner. If a person is in loser bracket and loses, they’re eliminated. If a person is in winner bracket and loses, they’re put in loser

Riddles played incredibly with Kazuya. The Roy took time to warm up but it shredded too. I somewhat enjoyed this grand finals but I couldnt help shake that Leo was playing lazy or tired. He wasnt moving outside the Wolf much and let certain things happen. Like a Kazuya laser from almost half the stage away just hit him or when he whiffed that tech. These things just felt very atypical of his usual performance and the commentators noticed it too. Anyway, congrats to Riddles for closing it out!

I'd personally like it if squad strike became the tournament standard. It would mix up the meta even more due to matchup formulas and anchor picks and it just feels like Smash KoF which is sick.

It would probably be even more exhausting for players on long tournament grinds to not only play three different characters, at least, but try to learn on the fly match ups each and every set. It's a fun mode but I don't think pros would want to do it as the standard even if it would give a greater variety (in theory).

@@TaskMaster5 Pros already have to deal with it in KoF and other team fighters like MvC and DBFZ. The format isn't necessarily longer either as you have the same amount of stocks and if there was any issue of that, adjustments to the rulesets could be looked at. I understand what you mean though but I think in the long run it would just reward character loyalty and push the meta away from harder matchup counters since you would have more options for flexibility in your playstyle.

I still believe that Squad Strike is the superior play mode. It's more strategic (team composition & order), more skill-based (have to know how to play multiple characters) and offers more variety for both the player and the audience. Not including this in the online mode was a wasted opportunity.

For some people he is. Leo Sparg0 Gluto. The rest are in no order but imo, top 10-15 or arguable: Kola, Light, Proto, Shuton, Cosmos, Tweek, Ken, Dabuz, Riddles, Chag and I've not seen Zackray, Maister or Elegant lately. I also think Zomba is at least gunning for top 15 himself.

I'm gonna be honest, I never grew up with smash, but a friend had Melee and also played brawl. This is the first game I've personally owned, and I just don't get it. The combo's don't work like how it should make sense to me. I'm use to things like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. I want to get good at the game, but anytime I'm trying to do a combo that makes sense, it just doesn't happen. I can be in the middle of an attack, and somehow they hit me instead... I just don't get it.
