The oil was already black and used adding an oil and filter replacing old oil would give the same result the ceratec additive didn’t do this. I watched a lab test on you tube yesterday and it appears these oil additives actually make the oil break down faster increase the acid and actually by using them your actually diluting the properties of the engine oil. The message was do not add any oil additives to your engine oil

this test coul´d be performed without certatec after oil+filters change, and AFTER add CERATEC and compare..... power before and AFTER filter + oil change can give 10HP of diference

How much of that is the new oil though...? I use this stuff and don't notice a difference, but the dyno doesn't lie
