I just made some of this with comfrey and various other weeds but I used an air stone and it's been sitting almost a month because of the rain we've been having here in upstate NY i hope that it's still alive and well I'm going to mix it 1:8 so slightly stronger because the gound is already saturated and apply it today as we're expecting to have at least 3 dry hot sunny days in a row.

This is awesome information. 1 question, I know that you said to water with this once a week but do you water with just water any other time during the week or is this enough water for a week ????
@donaldduck830 Жыл бұрын
Depends on the weather. It is currently hot and remarkably dry here, so I have got to water every day. But if it were colder and wetter, I would adapt my schedule and usually don't water my garden beds at all. Look at your weather and what your soil looks like. (if you got sand, you need to water more often. With lots of clay like in my garden, you can be lazier, but I need to be vigilant so that it does not become so dry that it turns into adobe bricks, cause by then it won't accept any water at all. Even with the mulch covering I use)

Do you plan to grow cucumbers and only water it once in 7 days?

I just made some with clover and comfrey and the comfrey plant roots go 8 ft or more into the soil and they put every nutrient and minerals in the leaves and I use them in composting and making liquid fertilize

How often should I apply the organic fertilizer to the cucumbers?
@BuySellColoradoSprings Жыл бұрын
Great info. However, I would say, if one is trying to go organic, watch out for the type of grass clippings, he may be using.

You can also put some urin and manure in it, and some eggshells.

I added some composted manure and maple syrup to my weed soup. Wife said, "that smells like sh*t..."😂...but it was supposed to and fed the plants very well. Applied at the slightest sign of yellowing leaves and before fruit set as directed in the video. I don't think you can be an avid gardner and not withstand the smell of "fermented micro-nutrients"😊. -Later

If you stir the weeds daily as is shown in the video, the amount of heat in the water will inhibit the ability for mosquito breeding.

I am sorry to say this! When you use "GRASS" as your compost fertilizer then you will harvest 'crops" taste so "BITTER" ... such that you cannot swallow. I bet you that your cumcumbers you are about to harvest tasted so BITTER...! "GRASS COMPOSE" may cause BITTER or YUCKY taste to your salad, peach fruits .... I am not saying GRASS is not good. It is very compost. But for flowers because you don't eat flowers. By the way, another one kind of scrap also cause BITTER to your vegies and fruits is "BITTER MELON"

works. since in every plant, even in weeds, there are a lot of macro and microelements.
@bipbip6626 Жыл бұрын
It does , but not on peas, beans, root vegs where it can do the opposite It also works at the beginning of a plant growth
@bipbip6626 Жыл бұрын
@@barrabuswoods8636 it has to be diluted 10% Also avoid directly on leaves, in the sun too. Try to pour around, in case of an adverse effect It should work. Once a week
