What happened to this table? Curious because you don’t have a video of its completion. By the way, loving your channel.

Fairly new to the channel and enjoying getting caught up. Is there a final product video for this project?

I really appreciate the step updates. So many vids just show the entire process at one. This gives a much better understanding that these projects take time... Sometimes a lot of time. - cheers

Very much a lot of time haha. Happy you liked this approach! The last few videos have been in real time, so it’s more of a what we are up to kind of feeling!

@@Woodbrew nice - and I just zoomed into the screen cap - now I see the money too.... And I have to say that I was shocked by the price tag of the boat-tot kits.

I have only recently discovered your channel and a working my way through from your start, as well as watching current. Did this project get finished on your channel? Or have I missed it? Mark from Australia 🇦🇺

So where’s the update video for this project?

Great job! You need to use a lot of black pigment to achieve the full opaque look you are going for, though, I still think this will come out looking awesome!

We think so too!

next time pour just about a 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch and let cure for about 24 to 48 hours then you wont need to worry about the hold downs getting poured into it because, you can remove the hold downs after the 24 hours. Sealing all end grains is a good idea. I would have used Epoxy to fill all holes and end grains, just plain epoxy no pigment. Unless you want veins which do look good but depends on what the customer wants. I also would have taken the edges down just a bit because epoxy likes a round type edge just for coverage. Just a few tips , all and all I would say it looks good no major issues.

Yao should use cheep calking along the edge of the wood so you do not have as much to sand off

True, but we will throw it back on the CNC to flatten it😊

It’s going to be cool, and I enjoy the channel, I just have a hard time getting into these types of tables. I’m a Totalboat fan, using their products in place of traditional glue, but amount and type of environmental waste these table builds produce is just unsettling as a woodworker of primarily natural materials. Again, sorry, you guys are great, it’s just my position.
